A 13-year-old who was driving a stolen automobile and giving police a chase in California over the weekend caused two deaths and almost a dozen injuries when he collided with two other vehicles.
According to the Woodland Police Department, one individual passed away at the site and a 4-year-old daughter died from her injuries on Wednesday.
According to a police department news release, an officer had observed a car being driven erratically on Saturday afternoon. Sacramento is 15 miles northwest of Woodland.
A pursuit ensued after the officer attempted to stop the car, according to Woodland police. Then the car struck two more vehicles, causing two of them to catch fire.
Police reported that the California Highway Patrol was looking into it.
