Exciting News: Three Newcomers Make Debut at Wembley with the Team

Arsenal Manchester City Team

All three of our summer acquisitions made their Arsenal debuts against Manchester City today thanks to Mikel Arteta.

Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber, and Declan Rice have all been given the go-ahead to start at Wembley Stadium, with the Dutchman most likely to start at left-back with our typical pairing of William Saliba and Gabriel.

Leandro Trossard, Emile Smith Rowe, and our goal scorer from last week Eddie Nketiah are available off the bench. Havertz, meantime, plays in our front three alongside Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

Due to a minor muscular problem, Jorginho isn’t on the team for the game.

As for City, Pep Guardiola has given Mateo Kovacic, who joined from Chelsea, his first start, while Kevin de Bruyne, who has yet to play in preseason, is only healthy enough to sit on the bench.

Nathan Ake is also out due to an injury sustained during a recent exhibition match against Bayern Munich; cup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega is given the starting position.

Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Timber, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, and Havertz are the members of the Arsenal.
Turner, Tierney, Tomiyasu, Kiwior, Holding, Vieira, Trossard, Smith Rowe, and Nketiah are available as substitutes.

Ortega, Walker, Dias, Stones, Akanji, Kovacic, Rodrigo, Silva, Grealish, Alvarez, and Haaland are all members of Manchester City.
Ederson, Lewis, Gomez, Laporte, Phillips, McAtee, De Bruyne, Foden, and Palmer are the substitutes.
